Advice from the Unemployed

I have found that only using single photographs does not provide the level of information that I wish to portray. The books I construct offer additional layers of information based on my research. They allow me to use images and text in conjunction with book design to relay the greater meaning in my work.

In the Advice from the Unemployed volumes, I present the viewer with advice from unemployed workers in the form of text while the viewer is confronted by panoramic images of businesses where commercial activity has ceased. I portray the unemployed multitude offering their suggestions on living in a tough economy. The viewer can judge for themselves the merits of their recommendations
